Rooted in the classical teachings of Patanjali’s Ashtanga Yoga, this course integrates advanced practices from Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa (including Intermediate Series), and Vinyasa Krama, with a strong emphasis on alignment, energetics, and intelligent sequencing.

The curriculum expands into deeper philosophy, including the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, Samkhya Philosophy, and Hatha Yoga Pradipika, as well as advanced pranayama, meditation, Yoga Nidra, mantra chanting, anatomy, Ayurveda, and teaching methodology. You’ll receive personalized guidance, including a private Ayurvedic consultation, and gain confidence in teaching not only asana but also pranayama, Yoga Nidra, and meditation.

Certification

(300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training)

Moola Yoga Teacher Training School is a registered international Yoga school with Yoga Alliance, holding RYS-200, RYS-300 and YACEP (100 hours) credentials which are recognised and accepted worldwide, enabling all graduates to teach globally. Upon 300 Hour course completion, participants receive a 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification, allowing registration as 500 RYTs (Registered Yoga Teachers) with Yoga Alliance. Our Yoga Teacher Training Certificate Courses enable you to teach legally in any country, whether you choose to register with Yoga Alliance registration or not.

This 300-hour training is an immersive and transformative experience—not a retreat or a casual course. With up to ten hours of daily study and practice, full attendance, punctuality, and dedication are essential. You are expected to follow Moola Yoga’s Code of Conduct throughout the program.

To enroll, you must have successfully completed a foundational 200-hour yoga teacher training from a Yoga Alliance–registered school or equivalent. This ensures that all participants enter the training with a shared understanding of basic yogic principles, techniques, and terminology. If you're unsure whether your training meets the requirements, please reach out—we're happy to guide you.

The most important requirement, however, is your willingness to show up fully—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Challenges may arise, and in fact, they are a natural part of the yogic path. Rather than obstacles, they are invitations for growth, revealing layers of conditioning and unconscious habits.

As practitioners on the path of sādhanā, we approach these moments with curiosity, compassion, and responsibility—allowing the practices to purify, clarify, and transform from within. Your commitment to stay present through these moments is what makes this journey meaningful and deeply rewarding.

What are the requirements?

COURSE DETAILS

Asana: Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa

Asana practice will take place twice daily, with a continued focus on the Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary & Intermediate Series, practiced daily to cultivate discipline, breath awareness, and internal focus.

In this advanced training, we will build upon the foundations set during your 200-hour training—deepening your understanding of movement, breath, and energetic awareness. You’ll move beyond form to explore the subtle elements of practice, including bandhas, breath rhythm, and drishti.

You’ll also explore classical Hatha Yoga, where postures are held with steadiness and presence, and Vinyasa Krama, which teaches the art of intelligent sequencing—moving fluidly and consciously from one posture to the next.

Each class is designed to strengthen your personal sadhana while developing your ability to teach with greater clarity, nuance, and confidence. You will learn not only how to refine your own practice, but how to skillfully deconstruct, adapt, and teach advanced asanas with precision and care.

In this advanced training, we go beyond the basics of alignment to explore the subtle nuances of posture, intelligent cueing, and hands-on adjustments with purpose and precision.

You’ll refine your understanding across a range of postures—standing, seated, supine, twists, inversions, and balances—while learning:

  • Advanced alignment principles

  • Modifications and use of props

  • Effective verbal cues and tactile adjustments

These classes will sharpen your observation skills and deepen your personal practice, helping you feel each posture more clearly and teach it with greater insight.

You’ll gain the confidence to offer adjustments with clarity and care, supporting your students with presence, precision, and compassion.

Alignment and adjustment

Anatomy and physiology

A deep understanding of the body is essential for teaching yoga with precision, safety, and care. In this training, you'll explore both Western anatomy and yogic anatomy, building on the foundations from your 200-hour course.

Western Anatomy

You’ll study the muscular, skeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular, and nervous systems, focusing on how they relate to asana, pranayama, and meditation. You’ll learn how to adapt practices for different body types, address common limitations, and prevent injury—empowering you to teach safely and inclusively.

Yogic Anatomy

You’ll also explore the subtle body systems that underpin traditional yoga:

  • Koshas – five layers of being

  • Pancha Vayus – five vital energy flows

  • Nadis – energy channels like Ida, Pingala & Sushumna

  • Chakras – psycho-energetic centers

  • Bandhas – energetic locks

  • Granthis – energetic knots that obstruct inner flow

This integrated approach supports a more holistic understanding of the human experience—physical, energetic, and beyond—so you can guide others with greater clarity and depth.

Pranayama

Your daily pranayama practice will explore advanced breath control techniques including Nadi Shodhana, Bhastrika, Kapalabhati, and Anulom Vilom.

Through guided theory and personal practice, you’ll learn:

  • The philosophy and physiology of prana

  • How to sequence and teach pranayama safely

  • The energetic effects of different breath techniques

  • How breath supports meditation, healing, and nervous system balance

By the end of the course, you will embody both the discipline and freedom of a true breath practitioner—and feel confident sharing it with others.

Meditation

You will explore meditation not just as a technique but as a path to self-realization. Through daily practice and deep study, you will:

  • Learn classical meditation forms: mantra, breath, awareness, and silent sitting

  • Explore the mental and energetic benefits of a consistent practice

  • Understand how to guide others safely into meditative states

  • Deepen your ability to stay present, focused, and calm as a teacher

Meditation becomes not just a tool—but a lifestyle.

Yoga Nidra

Often called the science of deep rest, Yoga Nidra is both a subtle and powerful tool. In this training, you’ll:

  • Study its origins and philosophy

  • Learn how to structure and guide Yoga Nidra sessions

  • Understand its effects on the nervous system, trauma release, and emotional healing

This practice opens a profound space for inner transformation—for both you and your future students.

Mantra chanting will be an essential part of your daily sadhana. You’ll explore:

  • The meaning and vibrational power of Sanskrit mantras

  • The phonetics and pronunciation of sacred sounds

  • Daily chanting of the first chapter of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras

You will not only chant but feel—each mantra a tool to deepen focus, purify energy, and awaken devotion.

Mantra Chanting and Shatkriya

Shatkriya: Yogic Cleansing Techniques

You will be introduced to Shatkarma, the six traditional cleansing techniques of Hatha Yoga. These ancient practices—such as Neti and Dhauti—purify the body and calm the mind, creating a strong foundation for deeper pranayama and meditation.

By engaging in these kriyas, you’ll experience the transformative effects of internal cleansing and gain the knowledge to share these with integrity.

Yoga philosophy

The heart of this course lies in its philosophical depth. You’ll journey through:

  • The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali: Mind, concentration, and liberation

  • The Bhagavad Gita: Karma yoga, dharma, and spiritual wisdom

  • Samkhya Philosophy: The metaphysical foundation of yoga

  • Hatha Yoga Pradipika: The roots of Hatha and energetic anatomy

You’ll not only study these texts but live their teachings, learning how to integrate yogic wisdom into your practice, teaching, and daily life.

Ayurveda: The Science of Life

You’ll gain a foundational understanding of Ayurveda, yoga’s sister science, including:

  • The Doshas (body-mind types)

  • Ayurvedic routines for balance and vitality

  • The connection between diet, lifestyle, and yoga

  • 1 private consultation with an experienced Ayurvedic doctor

Ayurveda offers you a deeper understanding of yourself and the unique needs of your students—helping you teach in a truly holistic way.

Teaching practice, methodology and technique

Throughout the course, you’ll refine your teaching voice and develop confidence in your ability to lead. You’ll learn:

  • How to sequence intelligently for different levels and intentions

  • How to teach asana, pranayama, meditation, and Yoga Nidra

  • How to offer clear cues, hands-on assists, and use of props

  • The ethics of teaching, class management, and creating safe spaces

You’ll teach your peers and receive personal feedback, allowing you to grow with support and clarity. By the end, you’ll be ready to guide others with presence, purpose, and authenticity.

Yoga Business & Sharing Your Offering

Our 300-Hour Advanced Training is not only about refining your practice—it’s about stepping into your role as a teacher and leader in the modern yoga world.

This module is designed to support you in bringing your voice forward with authenticity and clarity. You will explore:

  • How to design and structure your own yoga retreats, workshops, and courses

  • Practical tools for building a purpose-driven yoga business
