Do I need a minimum level of Yoga before applying for the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course
Yes and no. A good level of fitness is necessary, if we look at Yoga from a physical aspect, you will need to have some endurance, strength and flexibility to be able to get the most from the course.
Once you have reserved your spot on the course, we do recommend that you start practicing physical yoga postures as much as you can.
Reading is always a bonus, but it is not obligatory.
We meet all of our students where they are at, there will always be a mix of knowledge and physical ability in the group.

Can I still do a Yoga Teacher Training Course if I am a beginner?
Being a beginner in Yoga is broad and diverse, some may naturally be more able than others due to culture or lifestyle.
If you show great dedication and devotion to learning Yoga, the training may be suitable. Please contact us if you consider yourself a beginner to evaluate if it would be appropriate for you to participate in the course. It is important that you practice regularly, have good physical stamina and are physically fit.

Do I need to bring any particular clothing?
For the opening ceremony you will need to bring an outfit of all white. For the course itself, make sure you will be comfortable. If your course is in November, December, January or February it is recommended to pack warm clothes as it can get cold. The area of Rishikesh itself is conservative so it is advised for your own comfort to dress modestly.

I'm not very flexible or strong, will I still be able to do a Yoga Teacher Training?
Yoga is much more than the physical postures, you will still benefit greatly from the course. However please contact us if you have doubts, so we can evaluate if it would be appropriate for you to participate in the course.

Will there be hot water and electricity?
Yes, each room has hot water and electricity. However, it’s important to remember that power cuts are quite common in India, so expect the occasional power outage, these do not tend to last very long.

Can I take part in the Yoga Teacher Training course if I have an injury/medical condition?
Always seek advice from your general health practitioner or a specialist first, and inform the school and your teachers of any conditions that may affect your practice before starting the course.

Are the Courses taught in English?
Yes, all classes will be in English. You should have basic, conversational level in English to be able to participate in the course.

After the 200 hour Course, will I be able to teach Yoga anywhere?
Yes, Moola Yoga is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School, all our courses are also registered with Yoga Alliance USA. Your certificate will be internationally recognised.

How far are the shops/restaurants etc?
We are very fortunate to be located in a peaceful, safe, secure, yet central location. The shops and restaurants are only a few minutes by walking.

Do I need to bring my own Yoga mat?
We have mats for our students to use but you are more than welcome to bring your own mat if you want to.

Is Food and Accommodation included in the fee?
Yes, these are both included in the course fee.

Will there be Wifi?
Yes, our accommodation has wifi.
