The Yoga Sutra Transmission

A 30-Hour Initiation into the Heart of Classical Yoga

This is not a course.

This is a transmission.

A sacred journey into the Yoga Sutras—not just to study them, but to embody them.

You won’t just learn Patanjali’s map—you’ll walk it, one layer at a time.
Through guided teachings, ritual practice, and silent integration, you’ll cultivate a direct inner relationship with the core sutras of yoga.

Perfect for yoga teachers, seekers, and sincere practitioners ready to anchor philosophy into lived sadhana and carry it with depth, devotion, and clarity.

What Will Awaken Through This Transmission

This is not a syllabus.
This is a map of remembrance—a return to stillness through the sacred architecture of the Yoga Sutras.

Core Yogic Vision

Receive the foundational philosophy and spirit behind Patanjali’s teachings—not as theory, but as living wisdom relevant to your direct experience today.

The Four Padas as Inner Stages

Journey through Samadhi, Sadhana, Vibhuti, and Kaivalya as progressive dimensions of the yogic path—not academic chapters, but transformative thresholds.

The Sutras in Practice

Embody the sutras through contemplation, silent integration, meditative rituals, and self-inquiry—not just to understand, but to become.

The Eight Limbs as Living Tools

Experience the full arc of Ashtanga Yoga—from Yama to Samadhi—as a map of consciousness and sacred conduct, not as checklist or formality.

Sāṅkhya & The Nature of Reality

Explore the subtle anatomy of reality through the 23 tattvas—Purusha, Prakriti, and the play of evolutes shaping your inner and outer experience.

Kriya Yoga as Inner Fire

Understand the structure of the mind (chitta), the nature of thought patterns (vrittis), and how to move toward stillness.

Sacred Sound & Sanskrit Precision

Develop a respectful and vibrationally-aligned relationship with the sutras through correct pronunciation and intentional recitation.

Yogic Psychology

Understand the mind’s architecture—chitta, vrittis, samskaras—and learn to move from fluctuation to stillness, from distraction to dhyana.

Self-Inquiry as Sadhana

Use the Sutras as a mirror to witness, refine, and return—to dissolve the false and awaken what is true and timeless within you.

Sharing with Integrity

Cultivate the clarity and humility to speak from direct experience, not borrowed language. Learn to transmit—not just teach—this sacred text.

A Note from Aayush

"The Yoga Sutras have been a personal compass for me—guiding my practice, teaching, and life.
This course is a way to share that depth with you. Not in a lecture format, but in a way that you can live it."
— Aayush, Lead Facilitator

Aayush’s journey into yoga began at a young age, inspired by ancient texts that intertwined meditation with a deeper understanding of the practice. He fully embraced the physical aspects of Ashtanga Yoga at the age of 13, studying in Mysore and learning from some of the most respected yogis in the field, which deepened his dedication to the discipline.

His path led him from his village near Delhi to the yoga capital of Rishikesh, where he committed himself to mastering the art of yoga, living, studying, assisting and teaching in YTTC's until present. As a teacher, Aayush passionately carries the message of yoga, encouraging students to build confidence in their practice. His approach focuses on inviting students to self-assess and witness their experiences, ultimately guiding them on a journey of finding the self.

“My focus is to help you touch your own truth—not mimic mine.
We do this through discipline, inquiry, and a warrior-like willingness to sit with what’s real.”

 FAQs *

  • This initiation is best suited for those who already carry a foundational relationship with yoga—whether through a 200-hour training, regular personal practice, or study of yogic texts. If you’re completely new to the path, we recommend beginning with a more foundational course first, to ensure you can fully receive and embody the depth offered here.

This isn’t about being advanced—it’s about being ready.

  • Not at all. While some familiarity may help, it’s not required. This transmission begins with foundational context and gradually deepens into direct experience. It’s especially suited for those who’ve briefly encountered the Sutras in teacher trainings and now feel called to truly understand, embody, and integrate their meaning—beyond memorization or surface study.

  • You will gain more than knowledge—you’ll gain inner anchoring. This container helps you embody yogic philosophy so you can share it with clarity, humility, and presence. It’s less about “what to teach,” and more about where you’re teaching from.

  • Yes. Upon sincere participation and completion, you’ll receive a 30-Hour Certificate through Moola Yoga, eligible as Continuing Education (YACEP) through Yoga Alliance.

  • You’ll be welcomed into 5 sacred Satsang Circles, along with an Opening and Closing Ceremony. These gatherings are more than classes—they are spaces of transmission, dialogue, energetic refinement, and mutual reflection.

Each Satsang includes time for live Q&A, woven into the rhythm of the session—not as a formal segment, but as part of the shared inquiry. You’re invited to engage, ask, reflect, or simply witness in silence. The space is held for you, however you choose to enter.

  • All sessions are recorded and shared with 1 Year Access. While live presence brings depth, we honor different time zones, life circumstances, and personal rhythms. You are free to walk the path at your own pace.

  • No—this container does not include chanting practices. However, you will be introduced to the correct Sanskrit pronunciation of key sutras to develop a respectful, conscious relationship with the text. The focus is on understanding the vibrational power of the words, even in silent or contemplative recitation.

  • Then this is especially for you. Teaching may be a byproduct, but the heart of this work is inner transformation. This is a path of deep personal sadhana—for those who want to live yoga, not just talk about it.
