Awaken the Power of Conscious Rest
Today's world constantly asks us to do more, think faster, and stay connected. Even after a full night's sleep, many people still wake feeling mentally exhausted, emotionally overwhelmed, or physically tense. While we often search for recovery outside ourselves, true restoration begins by learning how to consciously relax.
Yoga Nidra, often translated as "Yogic Sleep," is a systematic meditation practice that guides the body into profound relaxation while the mind remains quietly aware. Far more than simply lying down with your eyes closed, it offers a direct path towards calming the nervous system, reducing mental activity, and cultivating a deeper relationship with yourself.
During this training, you'll explore Yoga Nidra as both a personal practice and a teaching methodology. You'll learn the philosophy that underpins the practice, understand each stage of a well-structured Yoga Nidra session, and develop the confidence to safely and skilfully guide others into deep states of rest and awareness.
Whether your intention is to become a Yoga Nidra teacher, enrich your existing yoga classes, support your students' wellbeing, or simply experience the transformative effects for yourself, this training offers a balanced blend of traditional wisdom, modern understanding, and practical application.
By the End of This Training, You Will…

Course Instructor
Aayush Sharma
ERYT 500 & YACEP
Aayush’s journey into yoga began at a young age, inspired by ancient texts that intertwined meditation with a deeper understanding of the practice. He fully embraced the physical aspects of Ashtanga Yoga at the age of 13, studying in Mysore and learning from some of the most respected yogis in the field, which deepened his dedication to the discipline.
His path led him from his village near Delhi to the yoga capital of Rishikesh, where he committed himself to mastering the art of yoga, living, studying, assisting and teaching in YTTC's until present. As a teacher, Aayush passionately carries the message of yoga, encouraging students to build confidence in their practice. His approach focuses on inviting students to self-assess and witness their experiences, ultimately guiding them on a journey of finding the self.
“My teaching focuses on finding one’s true nature by exploring different corners of the mind and body through practice and cultivating a formless & warrior mindset that enables you to overcome difficulties and grow.”
