Why study Hatha Yoga in Rishikesh

This 50-Hour Traditional Hatha Yoga Teacher Training is created for yoga students, teachers, and sincere practitioners seeking to deepen their understanding of Hatha Yoga as a complete path. Rooted in classical teachings, the training offers a focused immersion into asana, pranayama, meditation, kriyas, bandhas, mudras, and the philosophy of the Hatha Yoga Pradipika.

Held in a quiet riverside setting, the course supports stillness, simplicity, and inner awareness. Daily practice is complemented by alignment, practical anatomy, satsang, and a light, sattvic yogic diet.

This is not a retreat, but a practice-rich, tradition-rooted training—supporting both the refinement of teaching and a deepening of personal practice.

  • Establish a strong and sustainable personal Hatha Yoga practice, grounded in discipline, awareness, and lived experience

  • Practice and understand the foundations of classical Hatha Yoga, including asana, pranayama, kriyas, meditation, bandhas, and mudras

  • Gain a clear understanding of yogic anatomyprana, nadis, and chakras—and how they inform practice

  • Apply alignment, adjustments, and practical anatomy to support safety, longevity, and individual body types

  • Learn to integrate philosophy from the Hatha Yoga Pradipika into daily practice and teaching

  • Skillfully apply bandhas and mudras to deepen the physical and energetic aspects of Hatha Yoga

  • Develop the ability to sequence and guide complete Hatha Yoga practices with clarity and confidence

  • Refine your capacity to teach Traditional Hatha Yoga safely and authentically, or build a strong foundation as a beginner

  • Cultivate a consistent daily sadhana and leave with the tools to sustain practice beyond the training

By the End of This Training, You Will…

  • Graduates of 200-Hour or 300-Hour TTCs seeking to deepen their personal Hatha Yoga practice in a structured, authentic way

  • Graduates of 200-Hour or 300-Hour TTCs with limited Hatha Yoga exposure, or those who studied a mixed approach to asana, wishing to refine and immerse themselves fully in traditional Hatha Yoga

  • Experienced practitioners who may not teach yet but have a solid foundation in yoga and feel called to explore the full scope of Hatha Yoga, including asana, pranayama, meditation, kriyas, and philosophy

  • Teachers and trainers who want to integrate classical Hatha Yoga practices into classes, workshops, or retreats with clarity and confidence

  • Serious practitioners seeking to understand the inner workings of the body, mind, and prana through Hatha Yoga, cultivating a disciplined and sustainable practice
